for enterprise and cloud data centers needing low latency, high
throughput, and comprehensive automation.

Powered by Cisco Cloud Scale ASIC, the N9K-C9396PX delivers robust
Layer 2 and Layer 3 features including VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and
RIP routing protocols. It supports MACsec encryption for secure
data traffic and advanced telemetry for real-time network
analytics. The switch supports programmable automation through REST
APIs, Python scripting, and orchestration tools such as Ansible. It
offers 2.56 Tbps switching capacity and approximately 960 Mpps
forwarding rate.
